How To Care For Your Re-Glazed Surface
Due to the non-porous surface of the finish, there is no need to use abrasive cleaners on refinished bathtubs. Any household liquid detergent will give excellent results. To remove mineral stains, use a mild acid solution such as a liquid bowl cleaner.
* Do Not use the surface for the specified number of hours indicated by the refinisher who completed the job.
* Do Not let a chip or leaky faucet go unrepaired. Call us immediately to repair it so it doesn't cause future damage to the coatings. Your new finish is under a 1-5 year conditional warranty offered by American Glazers, LLC. A No-Hassle Guarantee will be given to you at the end of the Re-Glaze job for your records.
* Do Not use abrasive cleaners. No steel wool, SOS pads, or Comet. Good cleaners to use are Lysol Basin & Tile cleaner, Scrubbing Bubbles (original-without bleach), Mr. Clean, Dawn Dish Soap, and Fantastic.
* Do Not use bath mats or other items with suctions underneath. This voids the warranty. The suction cups could cause damage when excessive hot water is applied repeatedly. We can add a slip proof bottom at your request for a modest fee.
*All organic coatings must cure. They start to cure at the time of application and must cure for a total of approximately 30-90 days. In the event defects are caused by improper customer care, repairs can be made for a reasonable fee.
*Do Not pick surface dust off with your finger. Please! This will do more harm then good, especially in the drying stage, and it voids the warranty. Any surface dust will dissipate in 3-4 weeks with normal cleaning and usage. Dust is common when NOT spraying in a booth. If there is a concern about anything, just call us and ask please. Thank you.
*Maintain caulking around the tub, if needed.
